Mr. Chris Matthews – Podiatrist/Director
Chris has been a Podiatrist for over 20 years. He established a leading Melbourne Podiatry Clinic before moving to the Gold Coast in 2006. Chris has spent the last 10 years establishing a practice in Robina before setting up his current business in Emerald Lakes, Carrara. Outside of being a Podiatrist, Chris and his wife Yasmin take pride in their 3 children and enjoy outdoor activities in their spare time. Chris is a keen Collingwood supporter and enjoys golf and cricket.
He is registered and approved through Queensland Radiation as a podiatrist who can use laser apparatus. This involves completing the training to safely use medical laser for the treatment of onychomycosis (nail fungus). His expertise in the treatment of fungal infection over many years has lead him to the laser technology being applied at The Gold Coast Nail Laser Clinic.
Ms. Jemma Matthews – Podiatrist/Director/Lead Practitioner
Jemma is the lead practitioner at The Gold Coast Nail Laser Clinic. Jemma has a keen interest in general and diabetic foot care, along with biomechanics, injury rehabilitation, laser for fungal nails and nail surgery. Managing foot care from young children through to the elderly. Jemma loves researching, improving and maintaining her extensive knowledge of all the modern technology and has had her own research published in the Foot and ankle Specialist Journal.
Jemma, like Chris is a Collingwood supporter – but asks that you don’t hold it against her. Jemma loves painting, reading, camping and chilling out at home with her two beautiful cats and one puppy. As most locals, Jemma also enjoys the local markets and walks around the lake.
Ms. Natasha Nadon – Podiatrist
Natasha is a Podiatrist at The Gold Coast Nail Laser Clinic where Natasha provides diagnosis and treatment of the foot, ankle and lower limb. Services ranges from general nail care, dermatologic presentation, diabetic assessments, biomechanics assessments, ingrown nail surgery, orthoses and footwear education. Natasha is originally from Canada, specifically in Montreal, where she was raised speaking French as her first language and English.
Through Natasha’s experience, she has come to learn that dedication and spending time listening to patient concerns is what makes a good Podiatrist. Natasha offers high quality evidence-based treatment and enjoys watching her patients thrive following treatment. Building therapeutic relationships and seeing her patients improve is what Natasha loves about podiatry. Natasha’s passion for this industry reflects in the services that she provides. Natasha is transparent, has a good work ethic and is honest.
